Ciaccia toscana

“Ciaccia” is the term with which in Tuscany focaccia is called, a simple recipe prepared with a few ingredients: mother yeast, water, evo oil, salt and a little sugar. The preparation time is long because at least three leavenings are required and then it takes about half an hour in the oven – the bread must be soft inside and crunchy outside. You can enjoy it accompanied by a fresh beer or a glass of Chianti wine (see my recommendation here), or served with cold cuts and cheese (the best is with mortadella!)
